    Question

    i'm looking for someplace where i can obtain a realistic looking police uniform for fairly cheap. also, patches/badges/guns and the like. anything a realistic cop would have.

    I went to do a film about 2 years ago, and I needed a uniform...

    None of the local costume shops would hire them out cause they might B used to "impersonate an officer"...

    Basically, I got an old golfers jumper, black trousers, and a lollipop jacket (from my stepmum)... I made a sign that said "Police"... It turned out well!

    U can get a flourescent jacket from most hardware / DIY stores!

    we were lucky, we found a costume shop whos husband was a cop, we managed to get hold of his uniform for a couple of days shot wat we wanted and gave it back, didnt cost us to much as well
